Kererū Ridge Lifestyle will provide a $5,000 starter pack voucher for New Zealand native trees to be planted around your new property. Once you have established your plans for your site, at a time of your choosing, our expert team can provide support and advice on tree planting and ongoing maintenance.

As part of the ongoing enhancement of the parkland area the team at Kereru Ridge Lifestyle may from time to time over the next five years, organise community planting days where as property owners you and your family will be invited to join us in a neighbourhood community planting gathering toward the further ecological enhancement of the recreation areas around the Parkland. Local schools may also be invited to participate in these events.

Protect
Kererū Ridge Lifestyle adjoins the Taranaki Mounga’s National Park, Te Papakura o Taranaki, and as such has a longterm goal of encouraging a predator free environment throughout the streams walkways, wetlands and parks within the Parkland. We work closely with Taranaki Regional Council, Local Iwi and DOC on their “Toward a Predator Free Taranaki” manage predator control systems throughout the Parkland. With support from our team we encourage you to actively participate in a control program for your property.

Farming livestock on your pasture land can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience for the whole family. However, for the inexperienced, the prospect of being responsible for managing livestock can be daunting.
At Kererū Ridge Lifestyle, we understand this and offer a range of support services to assist you with farming livestock on your selected property.
Farming support options include:
Owner operator support and collective purchasing and selling of livestock
Lease Back — where you receive a monthly rental for your land and Kererū Ridge Lifestyle take full responsibility for the livestock farming and pasture care operation for your property
Management advice and support on an as required basis
Full farm management consultancy service
Seasonal grass harvesting and baling advice and contacts
Cropping and planting advice and support
In addition, Kererū Ridge Lifestyle community is located just 10 minutes from the Stratford livestock sale yards, where you can purchase or sell your stock.
